Student To Be Executed After Hanging Prostitutes and Having Sex With Their Corpses

CHINA - A 23-year-old student studying design at Jilin University in Changchun will be executed after being convicted of hanging two prostitutes and having sex with their corpses. The Daily Mail reports that the student, whose surname is Lee, told police he was failing multiple classes and called the prostitutes in order to relieve the pressure. He also informed detectives that he had fantasies of necrophilia and one morning simply decided he could no longer resist his desires. 

According to iFeng.com, Lee hired a 20-year-old prostitute named Cai through the internet on March 6, 2013. He then hanged her, shipped the body to his house in Changping and had sex with the corpse.  He then reportedly dismembered the body and planted the sections in his garden. 

He repeated the same procedure with another prostitute on March 23. 

A forensic psychiatrist determined Lee was not insane and therefore criminally responsible for the crimes.

The Second Intermediate People's Court found him guilty of intentional homicide and sentenced him to death. 

He was also ordered to  pay 80,000 yuan (£8,000) in compensation to the victims’ families.
