MSNBC Host’s Bizarre Take on ‘Black Santa’ (It Involves Obama)

Can people just give this a rest already? If you want to be technical Santa Claus is white. He was a historical figure and he was white. How sad it is that people have to be so racist that they cannot stand the thought of some white guy giving their children presents. I am so sick of this. When I was little, Santa could of been purple for all I cared. He brought me great presents, and as a child, he was magical. Stupid racists have to make everything about them. I hope Santa brings them nothing, not even coal. Obama is half white by the way. So don't get too excited about Obama care, it is after all coming from some white guy.

From the blaze:

MSNBC host Toure on Monday decided to weigh in on the five-day-old “controversy” surrounding Megyn Kelly’s “Santa is white” remarks.

“I, for one, am glad Santa is black because I don’t want my kids worshiping some white dude who flies in to give them stuff,” Toure said. “Thinking a benevolent white man gives them stuff every year is good training for a life on welfare.”

Toure, who is perhaps best known for writing a book about Prince, added that it shouldn’t come as a surprise that people would resist the idea of Santa being a black man. After all, Santa is pretty powerful.

“The insistence he’s not black and can’t be black strikes me as an attempt to perpetuate white supremacy and to posit that whiteness is somehow normal and central while blackness is other or different,” Toure said.

“You do know, there is already a generous, benevolent black man in your children’s lives who lives in a place that is magical, who has given something to each and every American, whether they have been naughty or nice,” he added. “You know who I’m talking about?”

Toure ended the segment by playing a video promoting Obamacare:
