Emperor Barack Obama will be signing his executive amnesty orders today in Las Vegas, Nevada, this after going on national TV to announce his intentions to transform the U.S.A, into the United States of Amigo.
Republicans have threatened to sue Obama for overstepping his bounds as President, but could it hurt the GOP in coming elections?
Obama reminded all of us that the reason he was going to try to fix immigration reform unilaterally was because his pride and joy, the 2013 Senate "Gang of 8" immigration bill, was not adopted by the Republican-led House of Representatives.
The bill was cosponsored and sold at nauseam by Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who may have a tough road ahead of him, if he decides to run for the Republican presidential nomination.
Governor-elect Greg Abbott has already made it clear that he intends to take Obama to court, which would open the door for a slew of there lawsuits filed against Presidente Obama. Florida Governor Rick Scott, as well as RGA Chairman Chris Christie, have stated that they would wait to see what legal recourse they had.
I expect this to get very messy. Republicans need to be careful that they don't let Obama bait them into "Jumping the Shark" on immigration reform, if he hasn't already done so.
Viva America!
