When Freedom Calls, Will You Answer?

There is no doubt that Freedom has been calling for quite some time now, but I guess most people have their phone on vibrate or Do Not Disturb. While there have been some who have bravely answered the call, so far, there aren't enough. Perhaps now is the time to call Liberty and tell her we are on our way instead of sitting around waiting for her to call us. We are in jeopardy of losing everything our founding fathers put into place for us. They rebelled against tyranny and gave us a place where opportunity abounds and there is freedom to be had by all. And we have pissed it away. Yes, "we". Every time some new group pops up demanding to have their own set of rights, it has been given to them, But in that giving, another's rights were taken. What was once right and moral and descent has become something to hide from or else we can be sued and lose our homes and our businesses.

But what do you think would happen if we stood up and said, "No More"? I mean really took a firm stand and when one of us gets into a battle, others come to their defense? I will tell you what would happen. Those other groups of people would learn not to mess with us like they do. If we were to take a stand for a total stranger and let them know, "Hey, I've got your back", more people would stand up and take notice. Sometimes all it takes is one or two people to take that stand and others will follow. At some point in our lives, we all need a leader. We needed our parents/guardians to get through growing up. We needed our teachers to learn. We need a good preacher to teach us God's word. And we need a strong individual to make that first move when one of our own is in trouble.

I know that the next time I hear of a business being sued because they have refused to perform a gay marriage or bake a cake for the little idiots or anything else that takes away a little more of our rights and freedoms in order to give someone else more, I will stand with them and defend them ferociously. These aren't just things that happen to someone else. They are happening to us and we need to stop it. This is life and there are times when someone is going to be offended and things won't always turn out the way we hoped they would. It happens to each and every one of us at some point. Remember those signs people used to have in their business that said, "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone"? What happened to those? Those rights were taken away because some other group wanted more of a right than someone else. We are not a Nation treated equally anymore. And there is no longer equal opportunity for all. Those have been taken from us and my question to you is this:

When Freedom calls.... will you answer?
