So glad that Christmas has become nothing more than a free for all to get the latest gadget and super toy for the kids. Have to get those presents at all costs, right? Does anyone remember that if it were not for Jesus Christ, giving US the Gift of His LIFE, there would be no CHRISTmas for any of us? Of course we buy presents for friends and family. There is nothing wrong with that. There is, however, something very wrong with these people who act this way. They don’t care about God. They only care about stuff. Please remember to Thank God for all you have.

Each year after the leftovers have been put away, the giving of thanks transitions into Black Friday violence in some cases as the tempers of shoppers now hungry for deals flare and more than just elbows are thrown.

Black Friday craziness has already been raging for hours, so here’s a rundown of some of what you’re missing if you haven’t gone out.

Las Vegas, Nev.

A man lugging home his newly purchased big screen TV was actually shot around Thursday night in Las Vegas, according to NBC News.

“The suspect fired two more shots and the victim was struck in the leg,” Lt. Gordon of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told NBC News. “He was not seriously injured.”

Chicago, Ill.

A police officer was dragged by a car when he tried to stop a person from shoplifting from a Kohls store at a southwest Chicago area suburb.

“The officer was struggling with the subject as he got into the car and then the car started to move as the officer was partially inside the car. The officer was dragged quite some distance. He couldn’t get out,” Turvey said.

The police chief said a backup officer fired two or three shots toward the driver when he refused orders to stop, striking him once in the shoulder. The suspect and the offer were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Claypool Hill, Va.

A 35-year-old man was cut to the bone with a knife while arguing with a 61-year-old about a parking spot at Wal-Mart. Both the attacker and the victim, after being treated for his wound, were taken to jail, according to WVVA-TV.

Rialto, Calif.

A fight broke out at a San Bernardino County Wal-Mart after someone supposedly cut in line. The situation escalated to a point where an officer was injured when he intervened. KNBC-TV reported that at least three people were involved in the scuffle, but only two were taken into custody.

The officer suffered a broken wrist, according to The San Bernardino Sun.

“The fight at the Rialto store was an unfortunate and isolated incident to an otherwise very safe event,” corporate spokeswoman Betsy Harden told The Sun. “Providing our customers with the best and safest shopping experience is always our top priority.”

Garfield, N.J.

Officers had to use pepper spray to subdue a man at a Garfield, N.J., Wal-Mart after he got in a fight with a store manager about a TV around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Richard Ramos was taken to the Bergen County Correctional Facility in Hackensack where he remained in lieu of $20,000 bond, according to The Star-Ledger.

Covington, Wash.

Several fights between customers broke out in a crowded Wal-Mart.

In one instance, police had to pull apart two women fighting over a single electronic.
