Students & Faculty Protest George W. Bush Award for Fighting AIDS in Africa: ‘Didn’t Do Anything But Lie’

And just what has O’bummer done? All he has done is to continue what Bush set in place. No great honor there. And where are these idiots holding their little crayola signs in protest of the innocent blood shed by the murderer in chief’s drone strikes? And where is the outrage for all the Mexicans killed by drug cartels, many of whom were slaughtered by weapons provided by our own government? They seriously need to get their priorities straight.

The University of Denver’s decision to honor former President George W. Bush for his work combating the spread of HIV in Africa prompted about 100 students and faculty to protest outside the dinner where Bush was being recognized.

Bush Honor Prompts Protest

Bush received the award from the university’s Josef Korbel School for international studies. More than 1,100 people attended the private fundraising dinner where Bush was present, the Associated Press reported.

Bush started the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, which has spent billions to fight HIV, as well as cervical cancer, malaria and tuberculosis in Africa and continued under the Obama administration.

But protestors, such as Kathy Joy, 63, were angry about Bush leading the country into the war in Iraq and for enhanced interrogation of terrorism suspects.

“I don’t think Bush deserves this award because he didn’t do anything but lie to the people and lie to the country,” Joy said. “Even if he did send a couple of dollars of aid to Africa, he did a lot more harm killing innocents in Iraq and Afghanistan.”

University of Denver spokeswoman Kim DeVigil said they were honored to have Bush visit the university and said it should be a place of civil discourse involving all different views.

‘That’s a Lie’: Feds Deny Biker Group Permit for 9/11 Ride — and Employee Accuses Biker Group of Lying About Why

So they will approve the muslims but not Americans. Figures. We expect nothing less from the muslim in chief!

The National Parks Service (NPS) denied a biker organization’s request for a permit to ride through the nation’s capital on September 11, in honor of ”those who were killed” during the 2001 terrorist attacks, an NPS spokesperson confirmed to TheBlaze Monday.

Carol Johnson, spokeswoman for the NPS, cited logistical concerns for denying the permit.

“They (the NPS) looked at it (the permit application) and decided it would cause a severe service disruption of traffic both inside and outside the area around the mall,” said Johnson, who added “[I] wish the bikers would leave me alone.”

“The size of the event, we can’t manage,” Johnson said. “We couldn’t provide adequate park police services and park police escorts and it would require a lot of road closures so it was denied.”

The NPS did, however, grant a permit to a Muslim organization to hold a “million” man march on the National Mall.

An organization calling themselves “2 Million Bikers to DC” applied for the permit to ride their motorcycles through the nation’s capital to remember those who perished on September 11 and honor the armed forces.

The group said on Facebook they still plan to converge on D.C., despite lacking a permit.

“We don’t need no stinking permit!” the group declared on Facebook. “We have our constitutional rights and we shall ride!”

Belinda Bee, the event organizer, told TheBlaze she was initially told by Sheila Gotha, from the NPS permits division, the group’s permit was denied not for technical reasons, but because their event was slated for a weekday “and D.C. residents aren’t going to like that.”

However, in a phone call with TheBlaze Monday, Gotha denied having made those comments or having any knowledge about why their permit was denied.

“I don’t know anything about this, so that’s a lie,” said Gotha. “I don’t have nothing to do with it… I don’t even know what you are talking about.”

An email forwarded to TheBlaze by Bee, however, appears to show that Gotha was one of the NPS officials who participated in a meeting regarding the biker organization’s request for a permit. In fact, the email says she was the “organizer” of the meeting to review the biker group’s request for a permit.

An email forwarded to TheBlaze appears to show Sheila Gotha, who denied knowledge on Monday she knew about the permit application, was in fact the one who organized the meeting to review the biker group’s request.

Bee fired back at Gotha on Monday, saying she was the one not telling the truth.

“We had a conference call with Sheila Gotha,” said Bee. “That is a lie. You can quote me on that.”

Johnson said she was unsure if the bikers riding through D.C. would be cited by authorities since they don’t have a permit.

A spokesperson for the National Parks Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze Monday.

Organizers said thousands of bikers are expected to participate in the ride through D.C. on September 11.

Report: George Zimmerman Taken Into Custody After Incident With a Gun

This doesn’t look good for Zimmerman. Waiting on details……
From ClickOrlando.com/WKMG-TV:
George Zimmerman has been taken into custody in Central Florida after an incident involving a gun with another person. Lake Mary police say they were called to a house on Sprucewood Road Monday afternoon after a report that Zimmerman was involved in an altercation with another person with a threat involved. No other details were immediately available.

The Lake Mary Police Department would not immediately confirm to TheBlaze whether Zimmerman was arrested. Developing.

Updated from the Blaze:

George Zimmerman is in police custody in Florida after his wife said he threatened her family with a gun and assaulted her father, police confirmed to TheBlaze.

Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell said they received a call at 2:10 p.m. Monday from Shellie
Zimmerman saying she was visiting her father at her father’s home when George Zimmerman threatened her family with a gun. Shellie Zimmerman filed for divorce last week.

“She advised that he battered her father and was being aggressive,” Bracknell said.
Bracknell said police arrived on the scene and placed George Zimmerman in “investigative detention” while they could ascertain what happened. He was not under arrest, but was still “sitting in a police car” an hour after the initial call, Bracknell said.

In an interview with ABC aired after the divorce filing, Shellie Zimmerman called her husband “selfish,” said he had been verbally abusive toward her, and that he felt “invincible” after a jury acquitted him of murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. She also said he had been making “reckless decisions.”

George Zimmerman has been pulled over twice for speeding since his acquittal; police ticketed him in Lake Mary last week, and left him off with a warning in Forney, Texas, two weeks after the verdict.

Samantha Power Refuses to Say Whether Unilateral Syria Strike Is Legal

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power refused to say Monday whether or not a U.S. strike on Syria without the consent of the U.N. would be legal.

“You are representing the U.S. at the United Nations, which has not authorized a strike. Would an American strike on Syria be legal?” NPR host Steve Inskeep asked Power on Monday’s “Morning Edition.”

United Nations Amb. Samantha Power Refuses To Say Whether Unilateral Syria Strike is Legal

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power delivers a speech at the Center for American Progress, Sept. 6, 2013 in Washington, D.C. Power spoke about the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime against Syrian civilians. (Getty Images)

In her answer, Power did not directly address the legality of a strike, but said one would be justified.

“If we take military action in this context, it will be a legitimate, necessary and proportionate response to this large-scale and indiscriminate use of chemical weapons by this regime,” Power said. Defending President Barack Obama, she added, “Nobody has tried harder than this administration to work through the security council over two and a half years.”

Listen to the exchange, courtesy of Mediaite:

Inkseep pressed Power again.

“So let me just make sure I am clear on this. You are saying something needs to be done, and it is time to go outside the legal system, outside the legal framework, you believe it is right to do something that is just simply not legal?” he asked.

Power, again, declined to discuss the legality of a U.S. strike on Syria without the U.N.’s consent.

“In this case, you have the grave breach of such a critical international norm in terms of the ban on chemical weapons use,” she said. “It is very important that the international community act so as to prevent further use.”

Here’s the Letter Rand Paul Sent to His Colleagues Urging a ‘No’ Vote on Syria

 943605_544665418905274_1733042510_n

Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) in a letter Monday urged his colleagues in Congress to vote against President Barack Obama’s request to intervene in Syria’s civil war.

“The resolution to authorize force in Syria goes too far, and also not far enough,” the Kentucky senator wrote. “It does too much, but also too little.”

Paul said that by intervening, the U.S. will be entered into a “a civil war in which there is no clearly defined American national security interest.”

Paul added that the 90-day limit on military action in the war-torn country is also unacceptable, saying it too goes against U.S. interests.

“The resolution does too little by narrowly circumscribing the President’s power to execute war,” Paul wrote.

“I disagree strongly with unlimited executive power to initiate war. But I have some sympathy for the argument that once war commences,” he added, “the executive should not be hamstrung by a narrowed ability to execute that war.”

Russia calls on Syria to hand over chemical weapons

• Assad regime urged to put weapons under international control
• Gambit follows Kerry's 'end-of-week' offer to avert strikes
• Syria welcomes Russian proposal

Russia opened up a possible diplomatic solution to the Syrian chemical weapons crisis on Monday with a pledge to persuade the Assad regime to hand over its chemical arsenal to international supervision to be destroyed.

Russia's new initiative was announced by its foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov, hours after the US secretary of state, John Kerry, suggested that the Syrian government could avert punitive US air strikes in retaliation for an alleged chemical attack on 21 August, if it surrendered "every single bit" of its arsenal by the end of the week.

However, Kerry added that Assad "isn't about to do it", and the state department hastily issued a clarification saying that apparent ultimatum was "rhetorical" rather than a concrete bargaining position.

But Lavrov appeared to seize on the idea as a means of averting US military intervention.

"If the establishment of international control over chemical weapons in that country would allow avoiding strikes, we will immediately start working with Damascus," he said.

"We are calling on the Syrian leadership to not only agree on placing chemical weapons storage sites under international control, but also on its subsequent destruction and fully joining the treaty on prohibition of chemical weapons," Lavrov said after a meeting with his Syrian counterpart, Walid al-Moallem.

He added that he has already handed over the proposal to Moallem and expected a "quick, and, hopefully, positive answer". Moallem was quoted by the French Press Agency as welcoming the Russian proposal.

Both ministers said they looked forward to publication of a report by UN weapons inspectors on the 21 August attack on a rebel-held area east of Damascus called Ghouta, which the US says killed more than 1,400 people.

The French government has also said it would wait for the UN report, being prepared by a Swedish scientist, Åke Sellström, before making a final decision on taking part in military action.

The Sellström report is unlikely to come before the end of this week, diplomatic sources said. The samples brought back from a two-week visit are being studied in four European laboratories, to ensure that the result is conclusive.

Sellström only has a mandate to state whether chemical weapons were used, not who used them. However, his report will include interviews with survivors and observations on the missiles or other delivery systems used in what the UN is saying will be an "evidence-based narrative" of the attack.

"Should Dr Sellström's report confirm the use of chemical weapons, then this would surely be something around which the security council could unite in response – and indeed something that should merit universal condemnation, Ban Ki-moon, the UN secretary general, said on Monday.

"I am already considering certain proposals that I could make to the security council when presenting the investigation team's report. There would be a need for accountability, both to bring to justice those who used them – should Dr Sellström confirm their use – and to deter anyone else from using these abhorrent methods of warfare. There would be a need for greater security regarding any chemical weapons stocks."

In the UK parliament, David Cameron responded positively, but cautiously to Russia's move, saying if it was a genuine offer, it should be regarded as a big step forward.

Number 10 initially indicated that the Kerry proposal was not serious, pointing out that the idea had not been raised during the lengthy discussion on Syria at the G20 dinner in Saint Petersburg. They added the focus should be on Assad's record with chemical weapons.

But in a Commons debate on the G20 and Syria, Cameron said it would be "hugely welcome" if the Assad regime were to hand over its chemical weapons stockpile.

Boehner Advising White House On What To Say To GOP For Syria Support

John Boehner is now advising the White House on what to say to the GOP to gather support for a strike on Syria. This is rich, isn't it? Conservatives have no use for Boehner. He does not stand for Conservative values and he does not stand for America. This from the National Review:

Boehner (R-Ohio) said last week he supports President Barack Obama’s call for action, one of relatively few Republicans to say so publicly. With Obama set to address the nation Tuesday, the speaker’s staff is advising White House chief of staff Denis McDonough on what the president needs to say to win GOP support, National Review reported.

There is nothing the House Crier can say that will influence the American Patriot People. We have seen and heard all we need to make a discerning judgment on this imbecile. But go right ahead Boehner. Advise the left all you want. You are, after all, one of them. We the people don't need you to speak (or weep) for us.

Did The Obama Administration Stage The Syrian Chemical Weapons Attack?

hacked-email-of-us-intelligence-colonel-shows-pentagons-involvement-in-chemical-attack-in-syria-2

Earlier today I read an article on The Blaze about a hacker who retrieved emails that prove the US is the one responsible for the Sarin Gas attack in Syria. I was busy at the time so I thought I would come back to it later. It has been erased from The Blaze and also from InfoWars. I was able to find the exact story from a website called Hackread.com. I haven't ever been to this site but the story is the exact one I read on the Blaze. Here it is:

While the U.S is on the verge of attacking Syria for allegedly using chemical weapons on its people, a hacker going with the handle of ‘€Wagn3r’ has came forward with bunch of email conversations between U.S military officials calling the chemical attack a ”staged operation”.
Hacker claims that he hacked email id of Colonel Anthony Jamie MacDonald, an intelligence officer in the US Army. Hacker got access to U.S. intelligence correspondence and published U.S. Army Col. ANTHONY J. MACDONALD’s mail. Macdonald is General Staff Director, Operations and Plans Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence the Army Staff. It’s about chemical attack in Syria.
The hacker has also left a message on Pastebin along with downloadable links of email conversation. Hacker’s message was expressed in following words:
”I’ve hacked colonel Anthony Jamie MacDonald mail he is intelligence US Army Staff boss. First I hacked his Link3dIn account and got access to his mail through it then.
Among mail Mayhem like Amazon mails I’ve found his correspondence with his colleague Eugene Furst. He congratulates Col. with success and gives a link to the Washington Post publication about chemical attack in Syria on August 21. Furst also mentions it was “well staged”. Holy shit. I was shocked my eyes refused to believe it. Bloody bastards they “staged” a chemical attack”.
Email conversation shows that a  friend of Anthony MacDonald’s wife Jennifer (who is also president of South County High School in Virginia) writes she was shocked seeing on TV the children died after chemical attack in Syria. Jennifer answers she saw the story but Tony calm her down saying children were alive and the scene was staged.
BIN reports that in the message August 22 Eugene Furst congratulates Col. on successful operation and refers him to Washington Post publication about chemical attack in Syria. From the Anthony’s wife dialog with her friend it’s clear the video with the children killed in the chemical attack near Damascus was staged by U.S. Intelligence.
A screenshot of an email conversation is given below:
hacked-email-of-us-intelligence-colonel-shows-pentagons-involvement-in-chemical-attack-in-syria-
Another email conversation between the officer and his wife Jennifer MacDonald, comforting her that whole operation was staged, no children died nor was anyone killed:
hacked-email-of-us-intelligence-colonel-shows-pentagons-involvement-in-chemical-attack-in-syria-2

Now, I find it very interesting that while the Pentagon confirms that the accounts were hacked, the content of the emails is false. I'm not buying it. And why all of a sudden is the story gone? I do not trust this government. Not even a little. I found this article at the Examiner. It is dated January 28, 2013 and talks about other emails that state Washington had approved a chemical attack on Syria and that it was to be blamed on Assad. Here is that article from the Examiner:

January 28, 2013
On Saturday, Cyber War News released a cache of e-mails allegedly hacked by someone in Malaysia from a British private defense contractor called Britam Defence.
One of the e-mails contains a discussion between Britam’s Business Development Director David Goulding and Philip Doughty, company founder. In the exchange, it’s revealed that there is a plan to unleash chemical weapons in Syria in order to blame it on the Bashar Al Assad regime to justify a direct intervention by U.S. and NATO forces in the country's civil war. The plan, thought up by the government of Qatar according to the e-mail, is “approved by Washington.”
Phil
We’ve got a new offer. It’s about Syria again. Qataris propose an attractive deal and swear that the idea is approved by Washington.
We’ll have to deliver a CW (chemical weapon) to Homs, a Soviet origin g-shell from Libya similar to those that Assad should have.
They want us to deploy our Ukrainian personnel that should speak Russian and make a video record.
Frankly, I don’t think it’s a good idea but the sums proposed are enormous. Your opinion?
Kind regards
David
If this e-mail is authentic, it would confirm what has been reported in the past: that the al-Qaida connected Syrian rebels are planning to unleash chemical weapons as a false flag.
In June, Russia Today reported that Syrian rebels had acquired gas masks and chemical weapons from Libya and “allegedly plan to use it against civilians and pin the atrocity on the Bashar al-Assad regime.”
A Saudi company had further allegedly fitted 1,400 ambulances with a filtering system to protect passengers from gas and chemicals after Syrian rebels launch a chemical weapons attack using mortar rounds, all at the cost of $97,000 each. These ambulances, labeled with “Syrian People’s Relief,” would actually be carrying U.S. and NATO troops. According to Paul Joseph Watson:
The attack, which will involve the use of white phosphorus, sarin and mustard gas, will be launched on a heavily populated town near the Syria/Jordan border, possibly Daraa, after which the vehicles will pour in under the cover of humanitarian aid.
The ambulances…will operate under the guise of an aid mission to help the victims of the chemical weapons attack, but in reality are nothing short of armored personnel carriers.
A buffer zone will be created “that will lead to a NATO military intervention under the pretext of punishing Assad’s regime for the atrocity.”
In December, a video was posted online showing a member of the Syrian rebels testing chemicals on rabbits while jihadist chants go on in the background. In the video, containers labeled Tekkim are shown, which is a Turkish chemicals company. On the wall is a poster with Arabic writing on it that reads “The Almighty Wind Brigade (Kateebat A Reeh Al Sarsar),” according to the Syria Tribune.
A person wearing a lab mask then mixes chemicals in a beaker in the glass box, and we see some gas emitting from the beaker. About a minute later, the rabbits start to have random convulsions and then die. The person says: You saw what happened? This will be your fate, you infidel Alawites, I swear by ALLAH to make you die like these rabbits, one minute only after you inhale the gas.
Assad has maintained that he will not use chemical weapons in Syria’s ongoing war. It would seem unlikely that he would, considering that it would put the militaries of most of the world’s powers against him. Further, an official from within the Pentagon told NBC News that there was no evidence that Assad was planning such attacks.
Intervention in Syria is not about protecting civilians. The Assad regime is allied with the Iranian government, and by overthrowing it, the West has an advantage in an attack on the Islamic Republic.

Something is definitely going on here and it is not good. I have felt from the beginning that Obama wanted to attack Syria for a possible caliphate ruled by his beloved Muslim Brotherhood. He is and always has been on the side of the rebels, a.k.a., al-Qaeda. It is time to sit up and take notice of what is going on. If we don't stand together to stop this madness, then we will all be doomed. Help me out on this. If you find something that proves this to be false, please let me know. I don't like to post things that aren't factual. But the fact that this story is disappearing on the web has me on edge. Help me get it out to the masses.

Obama Says He Didn't Set A Red Line On Syria

Oh here we go. Now the buffoon that sits his stink ass in the White House is now saying he didn't set a red line on Syria. Here are his words:

“I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line. The world set a red line when governments representing 98 percent of the world’s population said the use of chemical weapons are abhorrent and passed a treaty preventing their use even when a country is engaged in war,” Obama said. “Congress set a red line when it ratified that treaty. Congress set a red line when it indicated that in a piece of legislation titled the Syria Accountability Act that some of the horrendous things that are happening on the ground there need to be answered for.”

So now the world AND Congress set the red line? No, you worthless, communist Muslim! YOU set the red line. YOU BUILT THAT! Here are YOUR own words from 2012.

“We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my calculus,” Obama said. “That would change my equation. . . . We’re monitoring that situation very carefully. We have put together a range of contingency plans.”

When you said "we", you were speaking of YOUR administration. You are such a coward and every time things start looking bleak for you, all you know how to do is either play the race card, play the "I didn't know" game, or blame someone else. You can't blame Bush anymore can you Barry?  The idiot went on to say:
“My credibility is not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line,” Obama said. “And America and Congress’s credibility is on the line because we give lip service to the notion that these international norms are important.”

You have never been credible you twit. The only lip service you get is from the dems and rino's who have their lips suctioned to your ass. The American people, Patriots in particular, will not ever pay homage to your ass. Some days I feel like I could just scream. When is this idiot going to be impeached? He crossed MY red line a long time ago!

Boehner Says He Will Support Obama In Syria Attack

Boo Hoo has once again lost his head somewhere in the vicinity of Obamas posterior region. This clown has got to go. He announced today that he will support Obama in an attack on Syria.
“I’m going to support the president’s call for action [on Syria],” Boehner said. ”I believe that my colleagues should support this call for action.”
Your Colleagues?  You mean McCain, Graham and the likes? Well conservatives don't care about any of you any longer. Eric Cantor also says he will vote for a Syrian strike. It is time to get rid of these buffoons. They care nothing about the American people and they are certainly not conservative. If we strike Syria, Israel will most likely be attacked within 24 hours of that. Then we can look forward to WW III. Let the global rush for the Caliphate begin then. It is the one world system that is the beast in Revelation. It receives a deadly wound. Only Satan, when he is here as anti-Christ can heal it.

Obama is part of the Muslim Brotherhood and that is who he will always back. This is the reason he wants this war so badly. He wants the one world government that is run solely by the Muslim Brotherhood. But his association with these slime balls may soon be outed to the rest of the world... at least those who are so blind that they can't see what is right in front of them. The rest of us already know who the dirt bag in chief really is.

Al-Jazeera reported a tweet from Shadi Hamid, the director of research at the Brookings Doha Center. It is in reference to an Egyptian newspaper with the headline that Obama is a full on member of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Shadi Hamid: Tweets claims from Egyptian newspaper that Obama a Muslim Brotherhood member

We know this already. If you have proof, do America and yourself a favor and release the information. If you want to fight against the Muslim Brotherhood, then out the traitor in chief here in America. He doesn't care who he has to kill, in our Country or yours, to get what he wants. I wish I could just take the world by the shoulders and shake it! Wake up people! Stand up and demand to be heard. If we do, make no mistake that we will drown out the gays, the liberal whiny windbags, and the communist Marxist idiots. Stand up for God's sake!
