Scarborough Slams Media on Ferguson: 'This Ram Thing Was the Last Straw'

 

On Monday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, host Joe Scarborough railed against the news media for its coverage of the Ferguson, MO controversy.

The tipping point for Scarborough was the St. Louis Rams “hands up, don’t shoot” gesture before Sunday’s game.

Partial transcript as follows:

Yeah, guys came out, hands up don't shoot for the St. Louis Rams. Here's a video of it. And what is so remarkable is they might as well have come out with a flying saucer attached to all of their heads in solidarity with Michael Brown being transported to Venus on a flying saucer. Because that happened as much as that happened. That's according to grand jury testimony. That's according to witnesses. They are using his accomplice in the robbery that was with him at the time who also claimed that Michael Brown was shot in the back. And for some reason, the media attaches to these narratives that will stir up further protests. And I got to say, I just got to a tipping point this weekend.

There's another story in Cleveland where a young boy tragically was shot dead. Police officers got a 911 call that he was waving a gun, scaring the blank out of everybody in this public park. Police officers came up. Stopped. Shot the young boy. He was 12 years old. But they had taken off the markings to make it look like a toy gun. It was an actual gun. Do you know what The New York Times put in the caption of the video? "Police officers shoot child with toy." I don't know exactly who puts those, attaches those, but we are doing such a grave disservice to police officers in this country by pushing a narrative. That they are just going around looking to shoot black people. And somebody has to tell me, somebody needs to tell me why Michael Brown has been chosen as the face of black oppression.

Donny, I'm sorry. This Ram thing was the final straw for me. I have sat here quietly and listened to BS being spewed all over this network and all over other networks. I can't take it anymore.

It's absolutely terrible that that black man lay in the street for four-and-a-half hours. That's one area where you can say no white man would lay in the street for four-and-a-half hours. There are places where there are great inequities. That said, at least get your signs right. If this movement is important enough to you, don't base your movement on a lie. And I expect the Commissioner of the National Football League to suggest to the St. Louis Rams, their ownership, their coaches, their general manager, and their players that having players before the start of a National Football League game make a gesture that suggests that St. Louis police officers gunned down a young black men who have arms in their air saying hands up don't shoot, I suggest you have some work to do. You have some work to do. Not just on Ray Rice. You have some work to do to talk to those players. Because the cops have every reason to be pissed off this morning. Every reason in the world. And by the way, if I've offended anybody by saying what I've said, trust me: 95 percent of America think just like me. Just because there are cowards that won't say that on TV, that's your problem, it's not mine, because you're not getting the truth.

Connecticut Set to Begin Issuing Driver's Licenses to Illegal Immigrants

They already issue fake Social Security Numbers to Illegals. That’s where Barry stole his from.

Illegal immigrants in Connecticut will soon be able to obtain driver's licenses, under a new program approved by the state legislature in 2013.

Beginning Monday, illegal immigrants can start making appointments to schedule their learner’s permit test, which will then lead to a drivers license or what Connecticut is calling a "Drive Only License," as it cannot be used for identification purposes or to vote. 

On January 2 the state DMV will officially begin the program and start issuing learner's permits once the applicant passes a vision and knowledge test — which will be administered in either English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Polish, and soon the DMV says, Mandarin. 

Applicants will receive a drivers license after 90 days of holding the learner's permit and a road test. Applicants ages 16 and 17 will have to hold their learner's permits for longer amounts of time. 

According to the AP, eight states already offer driver's licenses for illegal immigrants and come January of next year Connecticut and California will round the number out to 10 such states. 

The license program begins shortly after voters in the blue-state of Oregon rejected the idea in what was the first time citizens have been given the ability to vote on whether to issue drivers licenses to illegal immigrants.

A Connecticut DMV spokesman told the AP that advocacy groups estimate some 200,000 undocumented immigrants live in the state.

"Our goal is to make this work as easily as possible for our undocumented residents who may have been waiting a long time to obtain this credential, which can open many doors for them," Connecticut spokesman William Seymour told the AP.

Democrats Upset With Obama Over Wall Street Ties

 

For all its demagoguery about Wall Street, the Obama administration hasn't been shy about tapping Wall Street talent to fill the ranks of his administration. Now, some Democrats are claiming to have had enough over "Obama’s nomination of Antonio Weiss to serve as the Treasury Department’s top domestic finance official". 

Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) even took to the Huffington Post a week or so ago to say, Enough is Enough.

It's time for the Obama administration to loosen the hold that Wall Street banks have over economic policy making. Sure, big banks are important, but running this economy for American families is a lot more important.

Among others, Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has been openly critical, as well. The Hill offers a thorough run down of other top Obama officials from Wall Street. 

Mary Jo White: Chairman, Securities and Exchange Commission - One of Wall Street’s top cops reaped plaudits on her way to a unanimous Senate confirmation to lead the SEC back in 2013. 

Jack Lew: Treasury Secretary - Treasury Secretary Jack Lew has been a near-constant presence in Washington dating back to the Clinton administration. He has filled several roles under Obama, including chief of staff and director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Stanley Fischer: Vice Chair, Federal Reserve - While the Federal Reserve is not officially part of the administration, Obama did nominate Fischer to serve as the central bank’s vice chair. Even before being nominated, Fischer was renowned as a monetary policy expert, having previously taught former Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, and serving as head of Israel’s central bank.

Michael Froman: U.S. Trade Representative - The president’s top trade representative was another Citigroup alum tapped to take a key administration post. A longtime Treasury Department official, Froman spent several years at the bank, leading its insurance operations and other investment branches.

Gary Gensler: former chairman, Commodity Futures Trading Commission - The former head of the derivatives regulator had an extensive Wall Street resume before joining the Obama administration. Farrakhan: 'Law of Retaliation' Applies to Ferguson

 

In a fiery sermon last week, Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan addressed the Ferguson verdict and reaction. In his remarks, he suggested retaliation as means for a just end.

“We gonna die anyway,” Farrakhan said. “Let’s die for something. Elijah Mohammed said 40 years ago, maybe near 50 years ago – there were 20 million of us then – he said if 10 million of us lost our lives, 10 million would be left to go free. Wait, wait. Just think about that. See, when my Muslim family here, Imams and my Christian family – in this book, there is a law for retaliation – a law for retaliation, like for light. The Bible says – an eye, a tooth, a life. As long as they kill us, and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep – they gonna keep killing us. But when we die and they die, then soon we gonna sit down at a table and talk about – we tired. We want some of this earth. We tear this goddamn country up.”

Black Teens In St. Louis Murder Unarmed Bosnian Man In Brutal Hammer Attack

 

A 32 year-old unarmed Bosnian man was beaten to death with hammers by at least three black teenagers in South St. Louis early Sunday morning. Two teens, 15 and 16, were arrested.

The victim was identified as Zemir Begic, 32, of the 4200 block of Miami Street. He had injuries to his head, abdomen, face and mouth. He was taken to St. Louis University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Begic was in his vehicle in the 4200 block of Itaska about 1:15 a.m. when several juveniles approached on foot and began damaging it. Begic got out and the juveniles began yelling at him and striking him with hammers. Two male juveniles, 16 and 15, were taken into custody.

Police are still searching for a 16-year-old black male and a 15-year-old Hispanic.

Dozens of people from the Bosnian community spilled out into the street, Sunday evening, to protest the violence.

“We’re just angry because we’re trying to protect our community,” said Mirza Nukic, 29, of St. Louis. “We’re just trying to be peaceful.”

Nukic was among at least 50 people, mostly, if not all Bosnians, who briefly blocked Gravois Avenue at Itaska Street on Sunday night to protest the killing. The intersection was near where Zemir Begic, a Bosnian man who moved to St. Louis this year, was attacked by at least three teens with hammers early Sunday.

The motive for the hammer attack has not been released, but it would not be a stretch to link the violence to Ferguson. 

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting, there were scores of "justice for Trayvon" retaliatory attacks on whites throughout the nation. Some of them, like the attack in St. Louis Sunday morning, involved hammers.

Breitbart's Warner Todd Huston picked up on a US News story, Sunday, that featured a Ferguson "protester" calling for blood.

"Some people are going to have to die for the cause," Jay Daniels, 27, of Charlotte said. "It's sad to say, but this is the new civil rights movement for our generation, and there will be casualties and there should be bloodshed."

This "new civil rights movement" was built on top of the Ferguson Grand Jury's decision not to indict an innocent white police officer who used deadly force to defend himself against an violent black teenager who had just attacked him, tried to wrestle his gun from him, and robbed a convenience store. 

That's the "cause" that may cost more innocent lives.

Obama's Cloward Piven Strategy Explained

Too many people fail to see what Obama is doing with his executive amnesty. In fact, everything he has done has been progress towards this one goal. To destroy capitalism and bankrupt America by over spending and overloading the welfare system. I wrote about his Cloward-Piven strategy over a year ago, but it is worth repeating. The very first thing you have to understand is that Obama hates America. He has done nothing for her good. All has been done to ruin her. It confounds me that people who live in this Nation and feed themselves from the richness it offers, also hate it with a venom that is only matched by middle eastern terrorists who wish to cut off our heads. The left has an abiding hatred for all things American and Christian.

But within America lies an abiding hope for the world. Hope. It is more than just a campaign slogan for some loony toon lefty lander. It is a feeling and a firm belief carried within a person's very soul. Often times it is hope that is the remaining vestige that keeps someone alive. Hope.

In 1966, a strategy was introduced at Columbia University by professors Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Cloward and Piven were inspired by the 1965 riots in the black district of Watts in Los Angeles. The riots erupted after police used batons to subdue an black man who had been suspected of driving drunk. Riots. The strategy of burning down your own neighborhood because you don't like what the cops are doing to you. I understand that things were very different for black people in the 60's then they are now, but I will never understand cutting off your own nose to spite your face. That gets you no where. And it shows the rest of the world what idiots you are.

Cloward and Piven published an article titled, "The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty" in a 1966 issue of The Nation. That year, The Nation sold over 30,000 reprints of the issue. Activists were enamored with the strategy and many were chomping at the bit to put it into effect. In the article, Cloward and Piven proclaimed that the ruling classes (the wealthy) were using welfare to weaken the poor and that by providing a social safety net, the rich were then able to douse the fires of rebellion. They claimed that poor people could only advance when the rest of society is afraid of them. In order to achieve the goal of collapsing capitalism, they worked first on collapsing the welfare state. 

They charged that activists should work to sabotage and destroy the welfare system which would then ignite a political and financial crisis that would shake up the entire nation. By collapsing the welfare state, poor people would rise in revolt and then "the rest of society" would be left with no choice but to accept their demands. Try taking the EBT cards away from career welfare recipients and see what violence ensues.

Early promoters of their strategy cited Saul Alinsky as their inspiration and his 1971 book, "Rules for Radicals". He wanted the capitalist rule book to be replaced with a socialist one. At that time, there were about 8 million people on welfare. Compare that to the 47 plus million on welfare today. I'd say we are seeing a definite overload. Now add the illegals who will be granted executive amnesty and you can see that the system can't handle the weight.

Cloward and Piven proposed a massive drive to recruit all poor people into the welfare system. They felt that even if only a fraction of potential welfare recipients were to demand their entitlement, it would bankrupt the system. Yes, you read that right. They called for people to demand their entitlement. I recall no where in our Constitution where it states anyone is entitled to government support for life. Their article called for "cadres of aggressive organizers (community organizers) to use demonstrations to create a climate of militancy". We have seen these types in recent months. The occupy movement, the Ferguson fiasco, The "new" black panther movement. The left continues to feed like a parasite on those who work hard to better their life. They don't like success unless it is their own. From Obamas "you didn't build that" to Hillary's "business and corporations don't create jobs", there is no denying what is going on. The problem stems from Grubers stupid Americans who refuse to become informed.

In the 1990's, Mayor Rudy Giuliani tried to expose Cloward and Piven's strategy. He was working on welfare reform and accused them by name and cited their 1966 manifesto as evidence that they had engaged in willful and deliberate economic sabotage. In a speech in 1997, Giuliani said, "This wasn't an accident. It wasn't an atmospheric thing, it wasn't supernatural. This is the result of policies and programs designed to have the maximum number of people get on welfare".

In 1982, the Cloward-Piven strategy founded a new "voting rights movement". The main organizations were Project Vote and Human Serve. Organizations just like ACORN. In fact, Project Vote IS an ACORN front group. These three organizations began lobbying for the "Motor-Voter Law" which Bill Clinton signed in 1993. What is the Motor-Voter Law? Basically, it made it "easier for all Americans to register to vote and to maintain their registration". By registering by mail to vote, people are not required to send any accompanying identification. This made it much easier to register under fictitious names or even register their pets for a voter ID and then submit absentee ballots under those fake identities. Motor-Voter equals Voter Fraud.

But in order to spread the word, these organizations needed massive funding. Enter uber socialist George Soros. His money has funded all of these organizations. Obama was exposed to Cloward-Piven when he "attended" Columbia University. Cloward taught at Columbia from 1954 until his death in 2001. Obama was also a community organizer for ACORN. He is working to bankrupt and destroy capitalism and replace it with socialism. A one world system where their are only two classes of people. The elite and then the rest of us. All poor. All dependent on a government that cares nothing for us. 

These are the reasons we have Obamacare. These are the reasons we have a flood of illegals pouring over our border. These are the reasons Obama stokes the fires of racism and divide by mentioning thugs like Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown. Obama cares nothing about our health. That was never the goal for Obamacare. The goal was to remove good quality healthcare and replace it with an over-bloated farce that forces people to purchase coverage that they do not need and do not want, all wrapped up in a package that no one can afford. And if you don't buy this so called healthcare then you still have to pay a fine. Either way, the coffers of the elite are waxed fat while Americans and the economy suffer.

Now think of all the other things Obama has done to further weaken our Nation and intimidate those who would speak out against his particular brand of tyranny. Benghazi? Americans were slaughtered and a cover up was deliberately manufactured so that the truth of his actions would not be exposed. Witnesses were killed and hidden, threatened if they came forward with the truth. The IRS? The deliberate targeting of Conservative groups and confidential information given to the White House, to Obama, about those who stand against him. NSA spying? Gathering and storing information on every single individual so that it can be used against anyone at anytime. Changed to suit their needs. You dare to speak out against Obama? Well, they have "proof" you are a terrorist and will take action against you.

The Cloward-Piven strategy relied on poor minorities to rise up. They never counted on Patriots doing the same in opposition. The left relies on fear and dependency and they cannot survive without it. They are the parasite on America the host. They will suck us dry if we allow them to.

It took years for many Americans to figure out that Obama’s policies not only do not work but are based upon a hard-left ideology not compatible with human freedom and economic prosperity. Indeed, the economy has not declined due to some random political decisions. It is the result of a series of decisions intended to move America away from its free-market roots and toward a socialist “utopia.” And of course, all of these decisions derive from the ideology of the man occupying the White House.

Needless to say, the socialist left believed the Obama era was the best opportunity ever to transform America to a socialist-based economy and eradicate our commitment to the Constitution designed to limit federal power.

But this should not have been a surprise. Virtually ALL of Obama’s main influences in life were communists and socialists who believed in transforming America into a socialist “paradise.”

Obama’s links to hardcore anti-American people and groups is so pervasive that had he applied to work at the White House prior to becoming president, he would NOT have received a security clearance. The media knew much of this info but made a concerted effort to avoid stories about Obama’s background. During the 2008 presidential campaign, this author even sent evidence of Obama’s 1996 “New Party” (a socialist party) membership to a half dozen prominent reporters and received no response.

Border Smugglers Using US Postal Service to Ship Drugs, Court Records Show

 

MCALLEN, Texas -- Authorities along the Texas border have been seeing a trend of drug traffickers shipping their product via mail.

Inspectors with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) recently requested search warrant in federal court that would allow them to open a 32 pound package that they suspect contains drugs. The request was made through federal court records obtained by Breitbart Texas.

“The U.S Postal Service is one of the means used for transporting both the illegal controlled substances and the money used to pay for those illegal controlled substances,” a U.S. Postal Inspector wrote on the request for a search warrant, which Breitbart Texas obtained.

A package was dropped off at the McAllen Post Office last week by an individual, identified in court documents as "MB," from Donna, Texas. It was to be shipped to another individual, "AB," in New Jersey. During the inspection process, a police dog tipped off postal inspectors to suspicious contraband inside the package.

According to the postal inspectors, MB does not receive mail in the address that he listed on the package.

Mexican Couple Caught Smuggling $500 K in Cash into US

 

A Mexican couple was caught entering Texas with $531,000 in cash hidden in their cars at the Texas border by the border sheriff's deputies.

According to court records obtained by Breitbart Texas, Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Alma Marrufo and her common law husband Sergio Villarreal who both were driving matching Ford Focus on their way to an international bridge in Laredo.

The deputies had pulled them over for a traffic violation but while doing a search of the vehicles noticed that both cars had had the door panels tampered with. After taking the vehicle to the international bridge, officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) ran the cars through an X-ray scanning device that showed bundles in the doors of both vehicles. Inside the four bundles, authorities seized $531,000 in bulk cash which had been tightly wrapped.

Agents with homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI) tried to interview Marrufo who immediately asked for an attorney; however Villarreal began talking with the agents telling them that the couple was driving from Houston to Monterrey. During the interview Villarreal said that his wife was responsible and he did not know anything about the contraband.

Ferguson Defense Fund: Protesters Need 'Money for Jail, Bail & Life'

A crowdfunding campaign advertising itself as the Ferguson Legal Defense Fund has been running a campaign since October that boasts a goal of raising $250,000 for protesters in Ferguson, Missouri, seeking “money for jail, bail & life.” 
Protesters have been voicing outrage over the shooting death of Michael Brown, ratcheting up demonstrations in the days surrounding a grand jury decision over whether to indict the officer who shot Brown.
Protests that occurred Monday night as the grand jury's decision was released moved from peaceful to chaotic in a short timeframe. A police cruiser was vandalized and set on fire.
Several businesses were looted and set ablaze that night, as well. Tear gas was deployed several times during the night. Sixty-one people were arrested that Monday night alone, reported Reuters.
On October 19, the Ferguson Defense Fund campaign was set up on crowdfunding website IndieGOGO, the fund’s page indicates. Since then, over $95,000 has been donated from the pockets of over 3,300 funders, site metrics show. Approximately $10,000 of that was donated just over the Thanksgiving holiday.
A description of the cause funds are intended to support reads, in part:

There are protestors in Ferguson who will stay there protesting until an indictment is handed down. And indictment is hardly justice, but it is the fairest procedure. These are young men and women who have put their lives on hold to stand up for all of our freedoms. The overly militarized police force in Ferguson has attempted to criminalize them by harassing and throwing them in jail for exercising their right to peaceful protest. They need our help. They need money for legal funds and they need money to live. The Ferguson Legal Defense Fund will help. We have partnered with Tef Poe and Tory Russell from Ferguson October to make sure the funds received go exactly where they are needed.

Both of the protest organizers list their locations as Brooklyn, New York, despite the location of the campaign being listed as Ferguson, Missouri. The end date for the campaign is listed as December 18.
