(WESTERN JOURNALISM CENTER)
By Steve Baldwin
It took years for many Americans to figure out that Obama’s policies not only do not work but are based upon a hard-left ideology not compatible with human freedom and economic prosperity. Indeed, the economy has not declined due to some random political decisions. It is the result of a series of decisions intended to move America away from its free-market roots and toward a socialist “utopia.” And of course, all of these decisions derive from the ideology of the man occupying the White House.
Needless to say, the socialist left believed the Obama era was the best opportunity ever to transform America to a socialist-based economy and eradicate our commitment to the Constitution designed to limit federal power.
But this should not have been a surprise. Virtually ALL of Obama’s main influences in life were communists and socialists who believed in transforming America into a socialist “paradise.”
Obama’s links to hardcore anti-American people and groups is so pervasive that had he applied to work at the White House prior to becoming president, he would NOT have received a security clearance. The media knew much of this info but made a concerted effort to avoid stories about Obama’s background. During the 2008 presidential campaign, this author even sent evidence of Obama’s 1996 “New Party” (a socialist party) membership to a half dozen prominent reporters and received no response.

MCALLEN, Texas -- Authorities along the Texas border have been seeing a trend of drug traffickers shipping their product via mail.
Inspectors with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) recently requested search warrant in federal court that would allow them to open a 32 pound package that they suspect contains drugs. The request was made through federal court records obtained by Breitbart Texas.
“The U.S Postal Service is one of the means used for transporting both the illegal controlled substances and the money used to pay for those illegal controlled substances,” a U.S. Postal Inspector wrote on the request for a search warrant, which Breitbart Texas obtained.
A package was dropped off at the McAllen Post Office last week by an individual, identified in court documents as "MB," from Donna, Texas. It was to be shipped to another individual, "AB," in New Jersey. During the inspection process, a police dog tipped off postal inspectors to suspicious contraband inside the package.
According to the postal inspectors, MB does not receive mail in the address that he listed on the package.

A Mexican couple was caught entering Texas with $531,000 in cash hidden in their cars at the Texas border by the border sheriff's deputies.
According to court records obtained by Breitbart Texas, Webb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Alma Marrufo and her common law husband Sergio Villarreal who both were driving matching Ford Focus on their way to an international bridge in Laredo.
The deputies had pulled them over for a traffic violation but while doing a search of the vehicles noticed that both cars had had the door panels tampered with. After taking the vehicle to the international bridge, officers with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) ran the cars through an X-ray scanning device that showed bundles in the doors of both vehicles. Inside the four bundles, authorities seized $531,000 in bulk cash which had been tightly wrapped.
Agents with homeland Security Investigations (ICE-HSI) tried to interview Marrufo who immediately asked for an attorney; however Villarreal began talking with the agents telling them that the couple was driving from Houston to Monterrey. During the interview Villarreal said that his wife was responsible and he did not know anything about the contraband.

Ferguson Defense Fund: Protesters Need 'Money for Jail, Bail & Life'
A crowdfunding campaign advertising itself as the Ferguson Legal Defense Fund has been running a campaign since October that boasts a goal of raising $250,000 for protesters in Ferguson, Missouri, seeking “money for jail, bail & life.”
Protesters have been voicing outrage over the shooting death of Michael Brown, ratcheting up demonstrations in the days surrounding a grand jury decision over whether to indict the officer who shot Brown.
Protests that occurred Monday night as the grand jury's decision was released moved from peaceful to chaotic in a short timeframe. A police cruiser was vandalized and set on fire.
Several businesses were looted and set ablaze that night, as well. Tear gas was deployed several times during the night. Sixty-one people were arrested that Monday night alone, reported Reuters.
On October 19, the Ferguson Defense Fund campaign was set up on crowdfunding website IndieGOGO, the fund’s page indicates. Since then, over $95,000 has been donated from the pockets of over 3,300 funders, site metrics show. Approximately $10,000 of that was donated just over the Thanksgiving holiday.
A description of the cause funds are intended to support reads, in part:
There are protestors in Ferguson who will stay there protesting until an indictment is handed down. And indictment is hardly justice, but it is the fairest procedure. These are young men and women who have put their lives on hold to stand up for all of our freedoms. The overly militarized police force in Ferguson has attempted to criminalize them by harassing and throwing them in jail for exercising their right to peaceful protest. They need our help. They need money for legal funds and they need money to live. The Ferguson Legal Defense Fund will help. We have partnered with Tef Poe and Tory Russell from Ferguson October to make sure the funds received go exactly where they are needed. Both of the protest organizers list their locations as Brooklyn, New York, despite the location of the campaign being listed as Ferguson, Missouri. The end date for the campaign is listed as December 18.

MCALLEN, Texas – A convicted human smuggler who had been deported two times before is facing human smuggling charges. He is accused of running a human stash house where witnesses say he tried to rape a Salvadoran woman who was in the country illegally.
Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Deputies and U.S. Border Patrol Agents arrested 36-year-old Jose Manuel Flores Patino earlier this week when they raided a house near the Texas border, court records obtained by Breitbart Texas show.
The case began earlier this week when sheriff’s deputies got information about a human stash house in a rural area of the Texas-Mexico border. According to court records obtained by Breitbart Texas, deputies called Border Patrol agents to help them do a “knock and talk” which is a process where they knock on the door and ask for consent from the residents to search the property.
When authorities went to the house and knocked on the door, Flores answered. Moments later, however, about 12 illegal aliens inside threw the windows open and ran out trying to elude capture.
Once everyone in the house was captured, agents began to interview the aliens and spoke with Wendy Palacios, a Salvadoran woman who told the agents about the abuses in the house, court records show.
Palacios told the agents that a human smuggling organization charged her $7,000 to get her from El Salvador to Tennessee. Once she got to Texas, Flores picked her up and took her to his house where he had other aliens waiting for the next leg of the trip. The woman told agents that Flores told her that she would be sleeping in his room with him and spanked her on the buttocks before leaving the house to run another errand, court records show.
When Flores returned to the house, he slapped Palacios and tried to drag her into his room. The other aliens in the house responded to her screams trying to defend her until Flores gave up and let her sleep in the living room with the rest of the group.
A U.S. Magistrate Judge formally charged Flores with one count of human smuggling and one count of felony illegal re-entry ordering that he be held without bond. Flores criminal history shows that in 2008 a federal judge sentenced him to more than two years in prison form human smuggling, then in 2010 another judge sentenced him to almost five years for illegal re-entry and was deported in February after completing his sentence.

(Washington Times) A two-year-old case involving the shooting death of an unarmed 18-year-old white man by a black police officer is gaining attention on social media in the wake of this week’s protests and rioting in Ferguson, Missouri.
Gilbert Collar, a white, unarmed 18-year-old under the influence of drugs was shot and killed Oct. 6, 2012, by Officer Trevis Austin, who is black, in Mobile, Alabama. Despite public pressure for an indictment, a Mobile County grand jury refused to bring charges against Officer Austin, concluding that the officer acted in self-defense.
The circumstances mirror those of the Aug. 9 shooting death of Michael Brown, a black unarmed 18-year-old under the influence of drugs by Officer Darren Wilson, who is white, in Ferguson.

(Politico) How could a major tax deal brokered by the top Senate Democrat die so quickly at the hands of a Democratic president?
Immigration politics and Democratic infighting came together to doom the $400 billion deal even before it had made it into print. The brinkmanship threatens to disrupt the lives of millions of taxpayers who rely on the mishmash of expired provisions the plan was trying to revive.

A U.S. Border Patrol K9 alerted agents to a load of 112 pounds of liquid methamphetamine valued at $3.5 million. The meth was discovered at the Border Patrol’s Falfurrias Checkpoint in Brooks County located about eighty miles from the Texas-Mexico border region on U.S. Highway 281.
A white Ford F150 pick-up truck approached the Falfurrias Check Point on Highway 281 on Nov. 19. A K9 drug detection dog alerted to a scent and agents had the truck move to the secondary inspection point according to a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol press release obtained by Breitbart Texas. A search of the vehicle at the secondary inspection station revealed a cache of liquid methamphetamine in one of the truck’s fuel tanks.
Out of concern for agent safety, officials contacted a San Antonio hazardous materials team to come to Falfurrias to extract the meth from the fuel tank. “The safety of our Border Patrol agents on the frontlines is our number one priority,” said RGV Sector Chief Patrol Agent Kevin W. Oaks. “Agents are trained to deal with various situations, but also recognize incidents that require the assistance of specially trained personnel.”
The driver of the truck, along with the narcotics and vehicle were turned over to the Corpus Christi office of Homeland Security Investigations.
Breitbart Texas contacted the CBP Public Affairs office to obtain further information. No response has been received at this time.
The Falfurrias Checkpoint has been responsible for over 82,000 pounds of drugs being seized and the capture of over 34,000 undocumented aliens according to the sign posted at the entry to the checkpoint.

A group of black Ferguson residents armed with AR-15s and other weapons stood guard around a Conoco station, owned by a white man, and saved it from being burned after looters began wreaking havoc on November 24.
Because of the armed citizens, the Conoco was not only spared, but the owner did not even have to board up the station's windows.
According to Reuters, one of the men guarding the station was 37-year-old "Derrick Jordan--'Stretch,' as his friends call him." He arrived in front of the Conoco, pulled out an AR-15, and stood guard at the store's entrance. He was joined by three other black residents on November 25--all of whom had "pistols tucked into their waistbands" and all of whom took up positions around the Conoco.
Other armed black men joined Jordan and the others from time to time to help keep guard. They protected not only the building, but also citizens who pulled up to get gas.
Store owner Doug Merello said, "We would have been burned to the ground many times over if it weren't for them."
Jordan and the others said they did not get paid to stand guard. Rather, they did it because Merello had "employed many of them over the years and treats them with respect."

Today, as every day, we have much to be thankful for. While the world around us runs around Godless in their self serving way, we know we have God and that He is on our side. May God's Blessings be upon you fellow patriots. Never lose hope. 1st Corinthians 10:13 holds 3 of the 8,000 plus promises from our Father. He will never put more on us than what we can handle. We are not unique in our trouble, as someone somewhere is going through the same thing. And He will always show us a way out. 3 very beautiful promises.
Give Thanks today for our God is an everlasting God. He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours...
The barrier between anarchy and a civilized society, between order and chaos, between respect for decency and lawlessness.
If you had just arrived in the country after spending the past month in the Canadian backcountry without any news source, you would think American police officers were willingly looking for young and unarmed black men to shoot without provocation. Egged on by the news media, President Obama and his attorney general Eric Holder, and the race hustlers, provocateurs, rioters and thugs, too many law-abiding Americans are beginning to wonder if law enforcement represents the enemy rather than that blue line, or at least wonder if the system is corrupt and needs to be changed.
All of that notwithstanding, we have much to thank our law enforcement officers for. Without them that barrier between order and chaos, between civilized society and anarchy, between the rule of law and lawlessness would not exist.
What has transpired in Ferguson since the death of Michael Brown serves the interests of the progressive left. Its representatives and spokesmen have exploited what is going on there for their own benefit at the expense of civil society, usually ignoring the evidence and making up facts that fit their ideology. They are embarrassed by the crime statistics and they recognize that their welfare state has made things worse. As Jason Riley, a courageous black journalist wrote in the Wall Street Journal earlier this week, “…evidence [of what actually happened in Ferguson] thwart liberals who are bent on making excuses for black criminality and pretending that police shootings are responsible for America’s high black body count.”
Eugene Robinson, Pulitzer Prize winning Washington Post columnist and one of the progressive left’s more reliable spokesmen, typified the attitude of ignoring the facts and blaming the police when he announced, on MSNBC that the choice to not indict the police officer showed that, "If you're a white person in this country and you feel intimidated by a black person it seems that our system is saying, you know, shoot first and worry about consequences later."
So saying that police work is dangerous is an understatement. Every time a cop makes even a traffic stop he knows that he may be assaulted or even shot. During 2013, almost 50,000 police officers were assaulted while on duty, and 76 were killed. Of those killed, 27 died as the result of felonies committed by their assailants; 26 were shot and one run down by a car used as a weapon. But have we heard from the President or the Attorney General about any of those assaults or killings? Did three White House officials attend any of the funerals, as they did for Michael Brown?
The thin blue line is best exercised simply by the fact that the police are there. Offenses that are never committed have it all over arresting, indicting, trying, and locking up an offender. Community policing--walking the streets, knowing the merchants, the neighborhoods and the residents, simply being seen has proven to be the best way to control crime. It is exactly what Darren Wilson was doing when he told Michael Brown to get out of the street and to stop impeding traffic--simply trying to keep the peace, as he had been trained to do and how he probably spent the majority of every day while on duty. Wilson, who had never used his gun while on duty before that fateful day, certainly knew, as he was being battered around by a 280 pound teenager who had just robbed a convenience store that nothing good would come from pulling his gun, that it was his worst nightmare, that he would be the bad guy, and Brown the hero.
The thin blue line has been damaged by what has happened in Ferguson and, unfortunately, many of our political leaders have thrown gasoline on the fire. As Ron Hosko, recently retired as head of the FBI’s criminal division and President of the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund wrote to President Obama earlier this month, “Long after Ferguson is forgotten, police officers across America will still remember the way their senior federal executives turned their back on them with oft-repeated suggestions that race-based policing drives a biased, broken law enforcement agenda.”

I took these pictures while watching the Kelly File on Fox News. Not sure what it says at the top but ISIS is clear on the bottom. And with rumors flying about ISIS telling the "protesters" to convert to Islam and they will help them, it is very disturbing to see this. We know ISIS is here. Now the question remains...how ugly is this going to get?

(WASHINGTON TIMES) Under the president’s new amnesty, businesses will have a $3,000-per-employee incentive to hire illegal immigrants over native-born workers because of a quirk of Obamacare.
President Obama’s temporary amnesty, which lasts three years, declares up to 5 million illegal immigrants to be lawfully in the country and eligible for work permits, but it still deems them ineligible for public benefits such as buying insurance on Obamacare’s health exchanges.
Under the Affordable Care Act, that means businesses who hire them won’t have to pay a penalty for not providing them health coverage — making them $3,000 more attractive than a similar native-born worker, whom the business by law would have to cover.

And the little thug wouldn’t rob a store either, right? No, your son was nothing but a POS!!! You’ve had more than your 15 minutes so kindly move aside. There are more pressing issues America needs to deal with. Such as stopping the idiot I’m sure you voted for. Stupid Americans for sure.
In their first interviews since the grand jury decision was announced earlier this week, Leslie McSpadden and Michael Brown, Sr. made appearances on Wednesday's “CBS This Morning” and NBC’s “Today,” alongside their attorney Benjamin Crump, to offer their reactions to that decision and the subsequent interview Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson gave to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
McSpadden questioned Wilson explanation for what led to his actions.
“I don’t believe a word of it,” she said. “I know my son far too well. He would never do anything like that. He would never provoke anyone to do anything to him and he would never do anything to anybody. I don’t believe a word of it.”
McSpadden alleged that instead, Wilson was looking to kill someone.
“He didn’t do what he had to do, he did what he wanted to do,” McSpadden said. “[I] don’t think he wanted to kill my son, but he wanted to kill someone … His conscience was clear? How could your conscience be clear after killing someone, even if it was an accidental death? We couldn’t even have my son’s organs donated. You understand that?”
In the “Today” appearance, McSpadden called Wilson’s comments “injury after insult” and “disrespectful.”
