Texas Border Voter Fraud Lawsuit: The Mailman Did It

MCALLEN, Texas -- Mailmen are selling lists of voters mailing addresses so candidates and supporters can go visit them and “help” fill out their ballots has the latest corruption scandal along the Texas Border.

The allegations listed in a recently filled lawsuit obtained by Breitbart Texas show that a group of candidates running for school board seats in the border town of La Joya bribed at least two local mailmen into turning over the lists. With the names and addresses of those voters, campaign workers and candidates went to collect the ballots to help the voters fill out the forms.

The lawsuit was filed by local attorney Javier Pena who represents Team Diamond, the name of the group of candidates that lost against the incumbent school board members in the November 4 election in the border county of Hidalgo.

Allegations of corruption during school board elections have become common along the Texas border. As previously reported by Breitbart Texas, in the eastern part of Hidalgo County in the town of Donna, several campaign workers paid for votes using bags of cocaine, marijuana, cigarettes, beer and cash. Soon after the investigation into the rigged election became public, the Donna School Board President hung himself.

Another example of corruption in the school board deals with the border town of Progreso where two brothers who served as the mayor and school board superintendent along with their father controlled rigged the contract process and extorted hefty bribes and liquor from would be contractors
